History

The valley of Las Vegas was once filled with wide vegetation and large amount of water. After thousands of years, vegetation and water disappeared and the valley evolved into a landscape that allowed the living of only animals and plants. This valley was first founded in the year 1827 by Jedediah Smith and his troops. In the year 1890, the railroad engineers determined that this valley would be the right location to build the railroads to improve the development of town and stop facility. The meadows of Las Vegas were discovered by an American in the year 1844. With the beginning of railroads, Las Vegas was discovered in the year 1905.
