History


Nelson Nevada was a very popular area during the early years of the country. It flourished in 1859 as many miners flocked to the area with the discovery of both silver and gold here. Nelson Nevada was also where some soldiers tried to escape to during the American civil war in order to desert and not be found.  In 1974 a flood can through the area and completely wiped out Nelson's Landing branding the are a ghost town.

Description


Nelson Nevada is an unincorporated area of the state located in the area of Clark County. It is included in the metropolitan area where you may find Las Vegas rentals or rentals in other close by cities or towns. Nelson Nevada has been branded officially as a ghost town for many years.

Residents


The residential makeup of Nelson Nevada is said to be incredibly friendly and welcoming. Since the area is so secluded the citizens of Nelson Nevada welcome visitors whether they're sightseeing or looking for possible rentals in the area. The demographics of residents in Nelson tend to be mixed with a many different income levels, ages, and races in the area.

There are not too many residents in Nelson Nevada because it has become abandoned by many people and it is actually hidden away from the main roads of the region. As a result of this sparse population.  The amount of homes in Nelson Nevada will not compare to the number of Las Vegas rentals but there should be plenty of rentals available to meet the needs of the average resident or renter. Most of the homes in Nelson are single family ranch homes that fit in with the overall theme of the area.

Nelson Nevada is an area that has plenty of things to do for residents and tourists as well. Some of the major features that are noteworthy include old barns, old style gas pumps, older rusty vehicles, and many other antique items. The Colorado river is also an area that has plenty of recreational opportunities in Nelson Nevada. Fishing, boating, and water skiing are popular activities for the residents and individuals seeking out rentals in the area.
