History


The beginning of Valley of Fire Las Vegas was in early 1931 and is well known for many attractive tourist sites and the fun and amusement it provides to its tourist and localities. It is located in the middle of Nevada's Mojave Desert. It has a typical low desert climate with mild winter and warm summer. In the beginning the area had only a population of 5,000 residences but now it has over 65,000 residences and still many are flocking to the city for jobs.  It has been estimated that, for ten years, an average of 4,000 to 6,000 new residents are moving to the city each month.

Valley of Fire Las Vegas is a fast developing city. It is also well known for its casinos and gambling clubs that offers 24 hour services.  Apart from the entertainments, the city also has many wonderful landscapes and exotic sites for tourists to enjoy.

The Valley of Fire is only about an hour drive from Las Vegas. Lake Mead which provides boat rentals, picnic spots and raft trips down the river is also close by. Mt. Charleston offers horseback riding and camping grounds. When it comes to shopping, the Fashion Place Mall, Caesars Palace, Wal-Mart and Aladdin's Mall are worth mentioning.

The city is also booming in construction of new buildings and apartments.
